Marinated Garden Salad
2007 Oregon's Best Winner

Yield: 9 servings

Flav-R-PakIngredients

  • 1 can Santiam cut green beans

  • 1 can cut yellow beans

  • 1 can red kidney beans

  • 1/3 bag Flav-R-Pac frozen peas

  • 1/3 bag Flav-R-Pac frozen corn

  • 1 cup celery, diced

  • 1 green pepper, diced

  • 2 bunches green onions, sliced

Marinade:

  • ¾ cup white sugar

  • ¾ cup white wine vinegar

  • ½ cup oil

  • Vegetable seasoning mix to taste

Preparation

  1. Drain and rinse all canned vegetables. Add celery, green pepper and onions. Bring marinade to boil. Add frozen peas and corn. Pour over other veggies. Place in tight container and marinate overnight. Turn container over to mix occasionally. This keeps well.
