Ag Fest - A compilation of some of the events that helped entertain
as well as educate Oregon children — and adults — about agriculture. The event
was held in Salem, Oregon on April 26-27. Video was shot by Elaine Shein of
Capital Press.
Woodburn Tulip Festival
Art About Agriculture Exhibit for 2008 On April 8, 2008, a reception was held at Oregon State University to
announce the winners of Art about Agriculture 2008: The Nick of Time.
There are 53 works by 41 artists from the Pacific Northwest. Capital Press
executive editor Elaine Shein attended the event and shares some of the images,
as well as pictures of people who attended the event. Master of Ceremonies Peg
Herring talks in the movie a bit about the theme The Nick of Time and how the
images reflect it.
